The journey to illustration
Since reading Jayne Fisher's The Garden Gang books at the age of five and recognising my shy little self as Roger Radish, I knew I wanted to become an illustrator. Drawing has always been a passion of mine, and I love how a simple drawing, whether funny or sentimental, can make someone smile.
I am very lucky or naughty (or both) to have always sneakily shoehorned a creative element into my job description - whatever my role! Being playful, having fun - with an added bit of mischief, is what makes me happy, and I hope that comes across in my illustrations.
The joy of creating
What's not to love when bringing sweet little characters to life and offering a glimpse into their world. It's a wonderful feeling to be trusted to help create personal, meaningful artwork for you to share with friends and loved ones; contributing to your special moments is what I enjoy most.
